We first arrived at the Leon airport on June 16, 2007 for the start of our three week vacation. Daniel, the property manager, was waiting for us with a sign "Bill Johnson". This was a pleasant way to begin our visit to San Miguel and the Casa de Angel.
Night fell as we began the 90 minute ride to San Miguel. We stopped at nice restaurant along the way to refresh ourselves after the food-less flights. We were when we saw the lights of the city off in the distance. We traveled through the quaint center of town and wound through a series of narrow streets then up an incline to the Casa de Angel.
When the doors opened we were amazed at the grandeur of the Casa. It is truly a home; very inviting and beautiful; wonderfully furnished, fully stocked with all the conveniences for cooking, cleaning and whatever else you need to do. Nothing is lacking.
After we settled in and rested we began to enjoy the wonderful peace of the Casa and the joy of just being there. It is an easy 5 minute walk in to the center of town and if needed a short ride back in a taxi.
Most enjoyable are the services provided by Daniel. Daniel was always available for questions; he recommended, arranged and conducted excursions and day trips to the many historic sites and cities.
Daniel's mother, Garcia, lives directly across the street. Besides her usual housekeeping duties, she is available for other helpful things. She is an excellent cook, most highly recommended for your intro into real Mexican cooking.
San Miguel offers untold adventures that you can explore on your own or with the help of Daniel, of course. Daniel is the best.

Our first, but not last, visit!

Our first, but not last, visit of San Miguel has been a terrific experience for us all. We had Danielle guide us to Guanajuato, Hidalgo and Queretaro. Leon is last as we prepare to leave.
No one could believe the beauty of Casa de Angel, the special care to make certain it is perfectly appreciated. The view is unparalleled.
Gracia, Beatrice and Daniel were always eager to help and Gracia's dinners were excellent!
We plan to return next year, same time-same place!

What a great first visit to Casa

What a great first visit to Casa de Angel. Everything was comfortable for us and our guests. Problems were promptly attended to by Daniel, your excellent house manager.

We had two dinner parties and could hardly get the guests to leave. We watched the best sunsets, enjoyed our margaritas, guacamole, etc., Mexican dinner and singing until almost midnight.

The trek down the hill has kept us fit... We shopped, read, played gold and cards and now, relaxed and refreshed, we return to California and Michigan Springs-hopefully Michigan wil cooperate. We hope to return in 2009.

Daniel is absolutely a diamond and has been helpful in so many ways.

San Miguel is fabulous and we made several trips into town for shopping, eating and tourist things.

Guanajuato was a great day trip and Daniel's chose of restaurants was superb.

This Casa is gorgeous in every way and we wish we could take it back home with us. Mama's cooking is fabulous! Jose makes awesome margaritas! The view from the deck is perfect!

What a gift this has been!

Scott and Annette-
You're amazing people-what a gift this has been- a holiday we will always remember.

"Casa de Angel" is glorious beyond words- the view, the spaciousness, the beautiful furnishings- and what a setting. The twinkling lights of the city at night-we even had an eclipse of the moon.

Daniel and his mother were so wonderful. What comforts they extended to us. Breakfast was the perfect entry to a week made in heaven.

Gracias!

Some things are priceless, for everything else there is Master Card

Scott and Annette,
"Some things are priceless, for everything else there is Master Card." At the top of our present list of the priceless are you and "Casa de Angel." What a masterpiece of structure and interior design. In the moments after Daniel opened the door with the key you gave me, we were awed by your creation and the love it reflects. What generous love you share with us and others when you let it be our home, our angel haven in San Miguel! Very simply, what you gave us is PRICELESS.

This has been a very special and relaxing week

This has been a very special and relaxing week in one of the most beautiful settings in Mexico. Casa de Angel was the perfect spot to relax and unwind from our busy lives in the USA. The house was very comfortable, the terrace and hot tub magnificent, and the assistance of Daniel, Gracia and Beatrice much appreciated.
Daniel was very professional as he arranged and led two day trips-one to Guanajuato and one to Dolores Hidalgo. Gracia was a wonderful cook and prepared two tasty dinners for us (don't miss her chili renanos!!).
We could not have envisioned a more delightful seven days in Central Mexico.
We will be back-and for a longer stay next visit!
